Hi! I lived in Maryland half my life. I joined my partner in Alabama in 1996. We were together for 23 years before she passed away after battling End Stage Renal Failure and Dementia.
I am a lover of animals and a strong believer in animal rescue. Over the years, I have rehabilitated many dogs that were abused. Now they are living their best life with their new family.
My family currently includes 4 dogs, Buster (13yo Great Dane mix), Toni (11yo Black Lab), Augie (8yo Black Mouth Cur/Beagle mix), and Remi (2yo Border Collie).
As I drive around pet sitting and taking care of friends’ pets ideas pop into my head - like THIS book I finally took the time to write it and have it illustrated. I’m so glad I did. I hope it brings YOU a smile!
